CREE me ha invitado a participar en el Webinar que van a realizar el próximo 31 de Enero con motivo de la construcción de edificios en madera con sistemas modulares. A diferencia de un Webcast, en este tipo de seminarios se nos ofrece la posibilidad de participar y de poder realizar preguntas nosotros mismos. Es un evento que personalmente me acerca mucho a un tipo de construcción que lleva siendo objeto de mi atención desde hace varios años. CREE has invited me to participate in the Webinar that will be carried out on January 31, on the occasion of the construction of wooden buildings with modular systems. Unlike a Webcast, in this type of seminars we are offered the possibility to participate and to be able to ask questions ourselves. It is an event that personally brings me closer to a type of construction that has been the subject of my attention for several years. I am very grateful to CREE by Rhomberg and Sehgal Saransh for the personal invitation and I hope to participate in more conferences in the future.

The 5th webinar in our series will highlight building performance goals and strategies that can be achieved naturally when designing and building with the wood-based and low tolerance building systems from Cree. A big focus will be on the operational energy efficiency standard Passive House (or Passivhaus). This standard is all about radically reducing the need for an active heating or cooling system to maintain a comfortable interior climate through super-insulation, air-tightness, passive solar design and heat-recovery ventilation. Wood through it’s low conductivity is the most appropriate structural material to achieve the necessary high performing building envelope. We will also discuss and exemplify building performance according to code requirements from the fields of fire protection and sound protection and follow up on design & build performance using the Cree building system approach. – CREE by Rhomberg
